Camera movement and editing
1) Camera movement
The crane shot at 1.06 makes the audience feel like they are apart of the scene and the chase. It also makes the audience feel relieved as they have trapped John Anderton. The tilt shot at 1.14 to 1.17 shows how many officers chased him. He is also now surrounded by them. This shot also makes the audience feel like they are apart of the team. The handheld shot at 2.10 to 2.15 creates a suspenseful tone and increases the intensity of the scene as the movement is shaky.
2) Two aspects of editing
The juxtaposition between the civilian and John Anderton at 0:40 suggests how John has been discovered and exposed to the public. This makes the audience think what will happen to him after he has been exposed to everyone. By doing this it makes the audience want to watch more and want to know what will happen to John Anderton. The pace of editing also increases at 2:16 which makes it suspenseful. This might make the audience intrigued to the movie as it is more interesting now and has more action.
3) Camera angles/shots
The close-up shot at 1.55 shows how he is trapped and has no escape, it also shows how he can't run anymore. This makes the audience think he has been caught and can't escape from them. The high angle at 4.30 shows how the officer is now fragile and has given up trying to chase him. This makes the audience think that John Anderton has escaped for now.
